These individuals pose with the plaque presented to the organization they serve by Laughlin Memorial Hospital, Laughlin Health Care Foundation, and the Blanche W. Grady Community Service Award, Thursday evening, November 12, during the Grady Award dinner.
The Cedar Hill Community Thanksgiving Meal Outreach Program was highlighted in a special presentation, prior to revealing the recipient of the 2015 Blanche W. Grady Community Service Award on November 12 at the General Morgan Inn.
In making the presentation to the leadership of the Thanksgiving Outreach Meal, Scott Niswonger, benefactor of the Blanche W. Grady Community Service Award, noted that the evening’s festivities included an extra bonus for those attending the Grady Event. He said, “We are recognizing the caring spirit of individuals who support, labor, and love working in the “Thanksgiving Outreach Meal,” an outstanding program with a very special group of community-wide volunteers and is successful because of the tremendous support from numerous churches and organizations in our community.”
This program will celebrate its 22nd anniversary on Thanksgiving Day; plans are underway to serve 3500 meals on Thursday, November 26.
