Attention all ladies planning to attend Derby Day on Main on May 6th. To help Derby goers make their own fashion statement, two women, who are experienced hatmakers, Sandi Moore and Sheri Upp, and designer, Carol Brown, Town and Country Event Rentals/Carol’s Florist, are offering a playful workshop on Thursday, April 6, one month to the day before the Laughlin Health Care Foundation’s Derby Day on Main, a fundraiser for “Feeding the Children of Greeneville and Greene County.”

Bring your hat, any embellishments you might have available, and the instructors will also have trimmings that you can purchase. The workshop is free. The workshop will be held at Town and Country Event Rentals/Carol’s Florist, 431 East Bernard Avenue and will begin at 5:30. Derby Day on Main features running of the famed Kentucky Derby, live on a spacious 10 foot screen will be held on May 6, 4 to 8, on the beautiful, rooftop terrace of General Morgan Inn, downtown Greeneville.
